Founder & President
Always(InStyle)®
You might say that fashion is in her blood.
DORIS POOSER, Founder and President of Always(InStyle)®, learned the finest details of style and image as a rite of passage. Her mother, Francis Wronski, a sought after 5th Avenue seamstress, created one-of-a- kind pieces befitting the finest ateliers of Paris, where quality construction and proper fit were paramount. Fran later managed 30 men in a 1930’s New York garment factory, a feat practically unheard of at the time. With this unimpeachable pedigree, Doris’ style standards became set.
Doris earned a degree in mathematics – but her love of fashion never faltered. She entered the image consulting field spawned in the 1980s by companies like Color Me Beautiful, improved and expanded the industry’s core services, then, using her 1960s General Dynamics computer programming, Doris devised the analysis algorithms and matrices that power the Personal Profile®, software that generates customized fashion, style, and beauty advice and product recommendations based on an individual’s
unique physical characteristics and preferences.
Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but confidence is her most compelling accessory. Doris believes that developing one’s own unique personal style projects a polished image to the world, and ultimately develops self-esteem, the lynchpin of her 25-year international career as best-selling author, corporate spokesperson, corporate trainer, and Fortune 500 keynote speaker.
Doris is the author of multiple best-selling books on personal style, published in 9 countries with over 500,000 copies sold in the US.
She has also personally trained thousands of corporate trainers, image and fashion consultants, personal shoppers and sales personnel internationally. Always(InStyle)® Concepts graduates include Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and JC Penney to name a few.
As a style expert, Doris has been featured on all of the major television networks as well as Lifetime, CNN, Fox and QVC and has attracted media attention from a veritable who’s who of women’s publishers including Marie Claire, Woman’s World, O Magazine and Oprah.com.
Doris is a member of National Speakers Association, The Fashion Group, AICI and the Accessories Council.
When she’s not traversing the globe empowering women and men to look and feel their best, Doris enjoys a good round of golf and whipping up a batch of her famous beef stroganoff.
